<BODY> <H1>Decorative painting on wood - Atelier JCE - furnitures and objects</H1> <BR> <BR> <P>Jean-Claude EYMERY welcomes you on his website dedicated to painted furnitures. Creations, possible works and orders, courses and trainings. </P> <P>Quite keen about decoration, I hope to give you the wish to contact me and talk about my several activities in this kraft. I work in France, both in Hauts-de-Seine (Paris area) and Cher (Center area).</P> <P>I create on order decorations on wood furnitures, coffers and objects, old or new, both in traditional and contemporary style. I also can proceed to Comtoise clocks renewal. <BR> Every project of work is personalized and carefully fitted to the customer's requests. Most of the time, several drawing and sketches of prototypes are provided to determine your choice. Products and techniques are selected according to the type of creation and the expected effects. <BR> I particularily appreciate to use traditional products like basecoat and glue-based paint or casein, for instance. <BR> A very old poor looking furniture could then revive ! And a new furniture of very ordinary wood will gain a decorative interest !</P> <P> My courses are quite practice-oriented. Their aim is to give knowledge of the basic techniques that will help the student very rapidly to decorate the most usual objects (boxes, trays, lamps or clocks). One may them, if willing, improve its practice in decorating bigger furnitures (sideboard, wardrobe, Comtoise clocks) by acquiring new techniques. <BR> I particularily emphasize on woods preparation and work on backgrounds. The next step is then the research of the decoration the most adapted to the object, its framing and realization. To satisfy oneself with painting a bunch of flower at the right middle of a door panel represents, to my opinion, a very limited perception of what decoration could be !<BR> In order to help and guide efficiently each student, I deliberately restrict the group size to a maximum of 5 people.<BR> Courses take place regularely in Haut-de-Seine (Paris area) and Cher (Center area) in several workshops. <BR> I organise Spring and Summer training French school holidays in the Cher area (30 kms North of the town of Bourges).
